2018 was a landmark year for SPF Academy , not only in terms of our personal growth but also in expanding our global footprint in the world of football. Here’s a retrospective look at some of the pivotal moments and achievements from that year. A Year of Firsts: Trofeo Escoles Valencia CF : 2018 marked our debut as tournament promoters with the first edition of the Trofeo Escoles Valencia CF for young talents aged 6 to 8. This event brought together forty teams from the Valencia CF Academy, hosted at the Valencia CF training complex, spotlighting budding football stars. Vila del Puig Women’s Tournament : Our first women’s tournament covered three age groups, starting from 8 years old. This tournament was not only a celebration of emerging female talent but also a platform for important discussions on the future of women’s football, with participation from notable figures from FIFA and La Liga. International Collaborations and Visits: Regional Sports from Abu Dhabi : We were honored to host Regional Sports, one of the leading academies from the UAE. Their visit underscored our academy’s appeal as a premier training destination in Europe. Al-Ain FC : Fresh off their success as the last FIFA Clubs World Cup Vice-Champions, Al-Ain FC chose SPF Academy for the pre-season training of their U14 and U16 squads, highlighting our academy’s capability to cater to elite youth development. Global Guests : Our academy welcomed teams and academies from across the globe, including Winners Football Center from Bahrain, the UAE women’s national team, the UK’s “Everything is Possible” association, and Premier Football Academy from South Africa, enriching our cultural and sporting exchange. Ongoing Growth and Future Aspirations: As we continue to nurture talents from the USA, Indonesia, Korea, China, Egypt, India, Colombia, Singapore, and more, our goal for 2019 and beyond is to see all our academy players achieving their dreams. Regional Sports players recently enjoyed an immersive seven-day soccer camp in Spain, which included exclusive behind-the-scenes access and cultural excursions. The journey began in Valencia, where participants had the unique opportunity to enter the locker room of the Valencia CF first team, a rare glimpse into the world of professional football. The experience extended beyond the pitch as the group explored significant cultural sites in Valencia, including the futuristic Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias and the historic old town, renowned for its centuries-old royal residences. The adventure concluded in Madrid with a visit to the iconic Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, home of Real Madrid. Traveling just one and a half hours from Valencia by fast train, the group experienced the grandeur of one of football’s most storied venues. Spring break offers a perfect opportunity for relaxation and engaging in one’s passions. This year, ProStars Soccer from Toronto seized the moment to embark on an immersive eight-day soccer program in Valencia, one of the world’s premier soccer hubs, orchestrated by Spain Rush-SPF . The Program Breakdown: The Toronto-based academy brought two boys' teams, from the U15 and U12 groups, to Valencia, where SPF was tasked with creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Part One: Technical and Tactical Training The first segment of the visit focused on enhancing group tactical and technical skills. Intensive training sessions led by SPF coaches aimed to integrate the groups into the rigorous Spanish soccer system. This was complemented by friendly matches against youth teams from two of Spain’s renowned academies—Valencia CF and Levante UD. Part Two: Competitive Play The latter part of the stage shifted towards competition. Both ProStars Soccer teams participated in the Valencia Soccer Cup, a prestigious tournament hosted by Valencia CF that draws teams from across the globe. This allowed the players to apply what they learned in the earlier sessions in actual game settings against both Spanish and international teams. Achievements and Reflections: The results were impressive, with the U15 team securing third place in their age group and the U12 team reaching the semifinals. This experience not only enhanced their skills but also provided them with valuable international exposure. Throughout the past week, the Valencian town of El Puig has been buzzing with activities centered around women's football. The event kicked off with a roundtable discussion on the current evolution of women's football. The panel featured prominent figures in international women’s football, including Pablo Malabia, Head of Women's Football Competitions at FIFA; Martina Olivas, Head of Women's Football at La Liga; and Salvador Gomar, General Secretary of the Valencian Football Federation, along with players and staff from Valencia CF Women and Levante UD Women. In terms of sports, from March 30th to April 1st, El Puig hosted its first national women's football tournament. The tournament included categories from Under-10s to Amateurs and saw participation from over 400 players across 21 teams from across the country.

With spring here and summer just around the corner, top clubs are preparing for their annual camps, and SPF is no exception! Our summer camp follows the same philosophy as our academy , tailored to the needs of each nationality and age group. The camp emphasizes the Spanish football training methodology with two daily training sessions (morning and afternoon) led by FIFA-certified Spanish coaches with extensive international experience. What sets our camp apart is its flexible scheduling—there are no fixed start or end dates, allowing players to plan their training around their vacation, without missing out on valuable soccer development or holiday fun. This flexibility also allows us to create a personalized “summer program” for each participant. Participants will enjoy a full-residence stay , where they will experience high-quality soccer training alongside summer activities such as beach outings, cultural excursions to Valencia’s historic old town, and visits to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences. All activities and accommodation are managed by Spain Rush-SPF, ensuring the utmost care for every player involved. The relevance of women in football has been rising rapidly, with growing public interest over the last few years. As one of the main “soccer countries,” Spain is playing a key role in this phenomenon. Now, a new women's tournament is set to become a major reference point in Spanish football. The tournament, named the "1st Women’s Soccer Tournament – SPF Villa de El Puig," is promoted by Spain Rush-SPF . One of the distinguishing features of this event is the inclusion of various complementary activities beyond the matches themselves. A special highlight is the Discussion Panel scheduled for March 22nd at 19:00 in the Culture House of El Puig. This panel will feature prominent figures in women’s football across Europe, including: Pedro Zamora (Sports journalist, COPE Radio) Martina Olivas (Director, La Liga Women) Pedro Malabia (Competition Manager, FIFA Women) Quino García (Coach, Levante UD Women) Jesús Oliva (Coach, Valencia CF Women) This engaging event highlights the increasing importance of women's soccer in Spain. Tournament Format: In terms of sports competition, the tournament will include four categories: U11, U13, U15, and Amateur. Each team will play a minimum of five matches, with a structure that includes three group stage matches, two semifinals, and the final. Top women's teams like Valencia CF, Levante UD, UD Aldaia CF, and Mislata CF have already confirmed their participation. This ensures a high level of competition and promises an exciting addition to the women's football season.
